From SF comes the most heartwarming story I’ve read in ages: a man driving his SUV across the Bay Bridge tried to throw a lit cigarette out of the window. The wind blew it back in, it landed on the back seat and the vehicle caught fire.
The guy leapt out of the vehicle and left it to roll into a safety barrier. The SUV is now a burning wreck, and police are going to fine him for littering.
I’m guessing insurance doesn’t cover setting your own vehicle on fire, too.
