Dave Chapelle has given up drugs, vanished from the USA in the middle of taping for season 3 of his show, and turned up in South Africa. Apparently he suddenly decided he didn’t like the direction his show was taking, and couldn’t deal with the pressure of a $50 million contract.
It’s also rumored that he has suddenly become more serious about Islam. Yes, he’s a Muslim.
Today I logged in to find an article on the IBM Intranet entitled New guidelines encourage IBMers to blog. The title pretty much sums up the article. It links to some detailed official IBM guidelines, and to various internal and external tools.
So, it’s official. Not only am I allowed to write about IBM stuff, I’m actually encouraged to do so, within certain limits (reasonable ones, as it happens). So while I don’t have anything to say right this moment, there will probably be more comment in future.
