A story which will have no personal meaning to you, but which you nonetheless might find amusing: I’m from Puerto Rico, born and raised. I went to collij in upstate New York. My first trip back to PR was over winter break, a redeye arriving at 2AM. The minute the plane doors opened on the ground in PR, the heat hit me like the proverbial wall. I was instantly and entirely drenched in sweat. 70-75 (20-24C) is a big change from the sub-freezing of Upstate.
I pick up my bags and go to the gate to meet my family… and they’re all bundled in sweaters and shivering in the early morning “cold”.
