Challenge yourself

I’ve got this brilliant game I play with myself. When we go on vacation, I hide a hard drive full of backup data. Then when we get home, I have to try and find the fucking thing.

Spots before the eyes

I guess I wasn’t paying attention to the Leopard previews earlier in the year, because OS X just blew my mind. I was editing an e-mail message, and decided to idly click on Time Machine to see what it was doing. Instead of the Finder going into Time Machine mode, my e-mail went into time machine mode. I clicked the back arrow a couple of times, and there was what my e-mail inbox looked like 2 days ago, complete with since deleted messages.

Just to clarify

While I have a backup of everything I posted to my own journal, and had taken copies of my lengthier and more worthy posts to other people’s journals, I do not have a backup of all my comments in other people’s journals and communities. If I wrote something in your journal, it’s gone. If you don’t like that, you’ll have to take it up with the LJ Abuse team or someone higher up the LiveJournal chain of command.
