Vegas Day 4: Xmas Eve

At this point, we’d had three very active days with lots of walking. We were both pretty tired, it was Christmas Eve, and we were supposedly on vacation. It was time to slow things down a little and relax more. We start off with breakfast at Krispy Kreme. I pick out three doughnuts for myself—one chocolate glazed with cream filling, one “classic” glazed fresh from the cooling rack, and one festive donut with red, white and green Xmas sprinkles.

Insert fish joke here

We went to Dan’s birthday thing. There was sushi. We bailed on the strip club because there didn’t seem to be an abundance of passenger space in vehicles, and there were other people keener to go. I’ve not been to a strip club. I’ve met strippers, though. Maybe that has spoiled the mystique? Whatever the reason, my interest in strip clubs is mostly sociological. I’d much rather talk to the women about the job, how they feel about it, and so on, than watch them dance naked.
